We try and scare all the kids in the neighbor hood -- it worked!!! Many and I mean many did not even come to our house. And a lot of kids just stood at the bottom and stared at jeff and then left b/c they didn't dare come any closer!

Ty's First day of school

Ty started preschool 1 1/2 weeks ago. He doesn't let me know what they did or if he had fun, but his teacher says he is doing really well and isn't shy at all during class.

He told me once we got out of the car that he was just going to be shy -- this is his shy pose. This is the gate as we enter the backyard.

Inside the door -- he is getting ready to be left for 2 1/2 hours. He doesn't really care about that part, he is just scared that other kids won't like him. But --- Miss Tylee has JETS!!!

This is after -- not really sure what he is thinking. I asked him what did you do? Who did you meet? What toys did you play with? What stories did she read to you? I don't know was his response to everything.

Now after almost 2 weeks -- Miss Tylee says he is doing great and he already has a buddy!

Well =--- It happened!

I got hooked on running and just finished my first Half Marathon!!! Actually 13.5 miles to be exact. Not going to lie -- it wasn't easy, it was very hard!!!

I usually don't like posts with out pictures -- but sorry, no pictures yet.

Started up at the draper temple -- Yes I said up -- way up on the mountain. All the way down under the freeway and back up to Oquirrh Mtn Temple. And, yes I said back up!

I had nervous doubts and concerns for running, but I did it anyway and now I fell great. (except for the sick to stomach feeling) At mile 12 -- I have a few tears when I looked back and saw how far I have come!

I finished in 2 hrs 33 min. About a 11:33 minute mile. I didn't finish last and that is great b/c there was on 17 people.
-
So for all of those who read my blog at all --- want you to know. Running isn't fun, but there is so much reward for doing it. .....
- Accomplishing a big goal
- I am the most fit I have ever been
- My heart and lungs are healthy
- Mind over body control

Just to name a few!!! Thanks to all who have helped!!! Escpecially some last minute advice at about mile 7!!!

2 1/2 weeks ago -- me and my kids were in an accident. We were all ok --- truck took 2 weeks to fix, at an estimate of $7600. Thank goodness for insurance!!

Sorry to my little bro -- jaden. He has been waiting for 2 1/2 weeks to see pictures. my camara battery died and I lost the charger. Finally got a new charger and here are the pictures!!!

There was a lot more damage under the hood and frame. We have it back now and it is great!

Ty Guy Haircut

Didn't think that my kids -- being born pretty much bald would have such a drastic hair cut!

But Ty was getting to hot on his head so here he is now!!!

Lacey Turned 2 !!!!

Happy Birthday to my baby girl!! She turned 2 on sunday and was so happy for her birthday. She had been talking about it for weeks.



When Grandpa said it was time for presents, she got with it. She just dove in and opened them all! Thank you everyone for the great presents! She loved every single one!



She is starting to get into princess mood -- thanks to grandma getting her this dress up!



I try to be creative by making fun cakes for the kids. This one turned out pretty good!

Wyoming!

We had a great time in Wyoming! Long week which included playing in a ditch.......

Riding in the "popper" or "copter" as my kids call it. Ty is in the back seat with Jeff. And yes, I am really that close to it taking off. The propellers are moving full speed.

And the best of all ----- what we really drove up for --- 9 hrs each way!!!!

Laceys New Bed

Yes it is the time -- to switch her over. She was so excited to see me get it out of the truck. She has been asking to sleep in ty's bed for a week or so -- so we thought it was time. She went to bed about ten minutes ago -- struggled for a minute -- but now is sleeping!!!




We of course bought it of KSl -- sanded it and then refinished it.

She was sooooo excited to sleep in her new bed!!!

What a big girl!!!!
