While my family was visiting we took a mini trip over to yellowstone! I can't believe how close we now live to such an amazing national park!
Our main objective was of course, old faithful!
Not as big as I remember as a kid, but big still the same! pretty awesome still!
Took me till it was pretty much over, to realize, oh -- get a family picture!
Of course, the famous buffalo! This one had just crossed the river.
While my family was stil with us here, we hiked down a 3/4 mile switchback to the brink of the lower falls. Never been to the top of a waterfall, pretty amazing! (look hard, that is me, my mom and sadie)
My family left after this and headed down to jackson hole, to break their drive back home to Utah. We stayed and ventured to the other side of the falls.

This is the view of the upper falls.
And while we were hiking around there, we happened upon this creature!
on the other side of the river from the falls, we ventured down uncle toms trail. 328 stairs down the canyon.
Totally worth the trip down.! Awwww.......
Isn't that waterfall amazina as well??? Ha, ha, my kids are amazing me lately!
Sadie was done being tied down for so long, but she was a tropper.!
Love this family!
Their faces explain it! STINKY!!! This was dragons mouth, made the sound of a dragon, plus it smelled really bad!!
This was funny.... We were about to leave the big loop as we passed this opening! I couldnt' get my camara fast enough, so I made jeff turn around to go back a get a pic! The pic doesn't give the view justice, it was breathtaking! We set the camera to 10 sec, I ran, but lacey didn't. Jeff trying to pick lacey up, mid air!
The real picture!
This is the other side of the yellowstone lake as we were about to leave! Beautiful calm lake, with a steam hole right on the beach! Amazing!
